Walk into the forests that start 150 meters away and meander down to and along the Sava River or choose instead to roam through the farmlands to one of the world’s best (18 hole) golf courses only 2 to 5 kms from Old Farmhouse Breg. For the really energetic seeking something more challenging, Mt Stol is waiting for willing climbers to the Austrian border where Stol changes its name to Hochstol (or Highchair) at the peak.

You may take day excursions to visit the many tourist sites around Breg or Bled or even further to the Adriatic coastline about 150 km away; the famous Postojna Caves about 100 kms away; Vogel just 30 kms in the other direction or Kranjska Gora just 30 kms in yet another direction or Northern Italy just 30km further.

Summer activities are substituted with snow activities in winter. Old Farmhouse Breg is well located for you to decide at any time which well-known ski slope you wish to visit on a specific day after you’ve checked the real-time insitu videos of the various local mountain conditions.
